The Battle Pack™ is a high quality, leg-mounted kit uniquely designed for immediate treatment of trauma related injuries. The innovative pull-tab system allows the user to rapidly open the kit with one hand to gain access to the interior of the pack. Features and Benefits: The handle at the top of the bag can be used to carry the pack, or to operate the quick access pull-tab system. If you aren’t wearing The Battle Pack™ and need immediate access to the trauma supplies, just grab the handle and pull either tab (located at top of pack) to access the contents. When wearing The Battle pack™ on your leg, stow the handle behind the duty belt attachment strap to avoid catching it on something. These pressure dressing wraps come in two sizes for treating multiple major bleeders. They are often used in conjunction with the Bulkee II gauze dressing. Each wrap has Velcro® at the end of the roll for securing. The Bulkee II gauze dressing is used to pack major bleeders, dress burns, and for wound care. There are two nylon webbing pull-tabs that can be positioned to extend out of the top of the pack. When pulled in an out and downward direction, the pack unzips quickly in a single motion. There are three pull-tabs on the inside of the pack that assist you in gaining access to the primary trauma supplies. The lower compartment holds thetrauma shears, petrolatum gauze, antimicrobial wipes, and ADB pad.
